The acclaimed trio has returned with their first album in over three years. ’One Eye Opener’ is the new album by the Copenhagen-based indie folk-rockers and it welcomes a new electronic sound. It’s intimate and personal yet oddly epic and outward-looking. Lead singer Dragut Lugalzagosi’s heavy depression and our crazy world are being examined.

Demons are faced and hope appears in various shapes throughout the album. Grandiose synthesizers, homemade samples, distorted guitars and Dragut’s delicate crooning are some of the ingredients. Offbeat and meditative soundscapes patiently unfold - with room for both pop elements and experiments - and small nuances constantly evolve.

The songs take their time so the listener gets a chance to face something evil, weird or beautiful. They deal with trying to navigate through a strange mind, while commenting on the state of the world.

A few inspirations for the album are Kraftwerk, The Psychedelic Furs, New Order, Leonard Cohen and Brian Eno. Guest appearances include Jamie Stewart (Xiu Xiu) and several renowned Danish musicians.
