Essential Earring

Golden Earring

Turquoise Vinyl edition

Five years after legendary Dutch rock band Golden Earring called it a day (after 50 years of recording and touring), their ten most loved songs and worldwide biggest hits have been brought together on one album: Essential Earring.

Radar Love (#1 The Netherlands, #1 Spain, #4 Belgium, #5 Germany, #7 UK, #10 Austria, #10 Australia, #12 Canada, #13 US, #16 Ireland) Back Home (#1 The Netherlands and Belgium, #6 Switzerland, #15 Germany) She Flies On Strange Wings (#1 France, #4 The Netherlands) Just A Little Bit Of Peace In My Heart (#2 The Netherlands) Weekend Love (#3 The Netherlands, #10 Belgium) Long Blond Animal (#19 The Netherlands, #20 Belgium) The Devil Made Me Do It (#16 The Netherlands, #20 Belgium, #79 US) Twilight Zone (#1 The Netherlands, #2 France, #10 US, #13 Canada, #79 Australia) When The Lady Smiles (#1 The Netherlands, #3 in Canada, #76 US) Quiet Eyes (#9 The Netherlands)

All tracks have been exclusively remastered from the first generation original master tapes by Golden Earring band archivist and reissue producer Wouter Bessels, who also oversaw the cutting process at the Artone Studio in September 2025. This compilation is the ideal entry point for novice Earring fans and also offers pop music lovers the opportunity to rediscover the best of Golden Earring from their glory years, in unparalleled better sound quality.

Essential Earring is available as a limited edition of 4000 copies on turquoise coloured vinyl.
