Live at Whisky a Go-go

A little time after the release of « Raw Power », Mainman - the agency which takes care of the band - opens Mainman West, an office in Los Angeles.

The Stooges, back from England, decides to follow the movment and settle down to L. A ; they practice their art five every seven days. A serie of performances (five times two concerts) is luckily recorded. These passages are described by the specialized magazine « Back Door Man » as the « best of all time rock concerts » !

It is one of these historic moments that appears here, with, in bonus... « She creatures of Hollywood Hills » which Stooges seems to have interpreted only one time (from another show !). The master tape of this album was supplied to us by Ron Asheton whom we would like to thank.
