Cindy Lee
Cindy Lee's double album "Diamond Jubilee" has been widely celebrated as a masterful blend of various musical styles, characterized by its avant-garde approach and emotional depth. Released by Superior Viaduct's new artist label W.25TH, this album showcases Patrick Flegel's remarkable range in songwriting and performance, enveloping listeners in a narrative of love and longing set against a backdrop of sticky hooks and timeless melodies.
The album has been universally praised, being shortlisted for the 2024 Polaris Music Prize and named best album of the year by music publications like Pitchfork and Exclaim!. Pitchfork even hailed the album as the third-best of the 2020s in a 2024 list of the 100 Best Albums of the 2020s So Far.
