Harry's Fight
Katie King
Katie King's first CD in almost a decade is a collection of songs that tell the story of late night soul searching and questioning. With the help of her quartet, featuring pianist Bill Anschell, Katie travels her own direction telling her stories once again, with three originals, new interpretations of "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" & "Come Together", and paying respect to two of Katie's favorite vocalists through Abbey Lincoln's "Throw it Away", and Nina Simone's "Do I Move You?". "... a major asset is King's sultry, bluesy way with ballads and torch songs." - All About Jazz.
