From the producer who brought you Mona J.'s 'MY FRAME OF MIND' comes a CD of personal songs and good grooves. Multi-instrumentalist and producer, 'J' lays down a groove so in the pocket, and carrying an old school vibe that has come full circle in the world of R&B. 'J' started as a guitar player in various bands in his native Milwaukee, and throughout the years has been writing and waiting for a chance to do a project on himself: 'J'-'The band thing is fine, but I love to create, and I figured, why not start with myself'. Since then, he has written and produced for several artists who are part of the newly formed Da'Soul family of labels. 'Take Me As I Am' is a testament to an artist's commitment to the song, subject matter, and content of different styles meshed together in one CD. Pick it up!!
