The Axidentals are a female fronted Olympia based band raised on 'the water', weaned on old school punk, educated with good old rock and roll, and polished with a metal edge. The energy that they harness has drawn a devoted following in their hometown and has been sparking interest among those in the know. Their self released, self titled debut album is a long awaited highlight in their repertoire since their formation in October of 1999. Their high energy, punk influenced rock is well represented in these twelve tracks, but their live show is definately not to be missed. They have been seen playing with bands like No Means No, C-Average, The Briefs, The Ruby Doe, D.I., St. Bushmill's Choir, Hell's Belles, and Fitz of Depression at venues all over the Northwest, but now it is time for them to conquer the world. So without further ado, allow me to introduce to you...The Axidentals: We've got Kevin Walter's hard hitting precision on the drums with Gigia Demko's heavy bass licks rounding out the rhythm section, and a perfect blend of Andy McMaster's melodic lead guitar riffs and Francesca Neville's full on rhythm guitar picking as the finishing touches. Now add Francesca's fully loaded vocals with Andy backing her up, and you've got yourself a tight knit, well oiled rock machine.
