The three best friends of the band Mini Mansions release their third album ‘Guy Walks Into A Bar ...’ on July 26th. Mini Mansions are three hard-working musicians who also play in Queens of the Stone Age, The Last Shadow Puppets and Arctic Monkeys, you can clearly hear these influences in their music. The sound of the album leans towards swell rock ‘n’ roll that you would find on a jukebox in a shady bar and is independent of trend, time or place, just like the joke the album is named after. The lyrics on the album are confronting, direct and personal, while the sound of Mini Mansions has never sounded so poppy. They say that the lyrics are serious, but they do not take themselves too seriously, after all, they are a cheerful band. Mini Mansions’s ‘A Guy Walks Into A Bar ...’ will be released on CD and LP on July 26th.
