A road movie with a decidedly fatal destination. Frank Harrington (Ray Wise) is begrudgingly taking his family to spend Christmas with his in-laws. His wife Laura (Lin Shaye) tries to jolly him along and placate their teenage son Richard, and their daughter Marion (Alexandra Holden) who is bringing along her boyfriend Brad.
