Triple bill of obscure American horrors. In 'Dark August' (1976), when a young girl is run over and killed by a careless driver, her mysterious grandfather places a curse on the accused. In 'Dream No Evil' (1970) a preacher's assistant starts to lose her mind.

Finally, in 'The Child' (1977), a young girl's father hires a governess to look after her after she starts to withdraw from daily life. When governess Alicianne (Laurel Barnett) realises that her student Rosalie (Rosalie Cole) has strange psychic powers, she must try to calm the girl before she unleashes all manner of evil on her father whom she blames for her mother's death.
