Love Is Red

This is a story about the love between a father and a daughter. This is a story about how a son who lost his mother, channelled all that love to his future daughter. But this is also a story about pain. This is a story about how this same son who later becomes a father gets flooded with these dreams that really take a toll on his mental stability. Dreams that would lead to sleepless nights. Dreams so abstract in nature but within these very dreams are gifts and revelations. Revelations about Blood, Pain and Lies. Revelations about The Love Between Me and You. Revelations that show the power of real love and the consequences of blind love fuelled by lust. This is a story that is written with poems, an unconventional but powerful method of storytelling; Narrative Poetry.

This father dreamt of pain and blood.

This father dreamt of men who cried blood.

This father dreamt of dying planets that were evergreen.

This father dreamt of the screeching sounds of the machines
