Premonition Chris Benson

Mark was used to having premonitions being that he had experienced them his whole life. This latest one was very different though. It revolved around a woman in another country who was someone that he had only met briefly over a year ago. He had never had to travel to see one of his visions through to its end, but as much as he put this particular one off it became longer and longer. It also included conversation which had never occurred in a vision before. The most annoying thing was however that it was occurring multiple times a day. Shannon was just a nobody, a small cog working for the provincial government in Halifax. Most of her life she was easily forgotten or ignored as if she was just part of the surroundings. Having someone she had briefly met once calling out of the blue asking for her help in sightseeing was not something normal in her usually dreary little world. Little did she know she was soon to be abducted and placed in a perilous position with grave consequences for anyone involved including murder. Her one prospect of rescue lay with Mark whom she had known for only a mere two days. He was the only thin sliver of hope that she had, so clung to it dearly.
