Wild Africa Mark Newman

This book contains the best images from my most recent trip to Africa, It was my fourth and most extensive trip, traveling to many of the iconic wildlife parks in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. I have photographed on all seven continents over a professional career that spans more than 45 years and throughout that time the wild creatures of Africa--and specifically East Africa--have held the most attraction for me. When my partner, Christine, suggested that we visit mountain gorillas, travel research revealed that with a little effort a three country safari could be readily organized. After a month on the Internet planning we arranged to visit over a dozen top wildlife parks across the three countries in addition to the gorillas of Uganda's Bwindi Impenentrable Forest. Of the many thousands of images that I captured in these parks the very best are included on the pages of this book along with descriptions of the action at hand.
