In present research work, several nutri-bars were prepared during preliminary trials using dates, dried apricots, six-month ripened cheddar cheese (CC) and whey protein isolate (WPI) in various combinations for male athletes on the basis of their Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA) for calories and protein (3500-3925kcals/day, 1.2-1.4 g/kg body weight).
