Seurat

Georges Seurat is a key figure in 19th-century art. In his short life, he revolutionized European painting with thrilling new techniques and ideas, most importantly Neo-Impressionist Divisionism, which built up individual dots or patches of color into such shimmering canvases as the celebrated A Sunday Afternoon at the Ile de la Grande Jatte.
