African Traditional Religion has a very deep philosophy and cannot be easily understood. As a result it has been misunderstood by Africans and non Africans alike. This book has attempted to clarify the misconceptions and prejudices against African Traditional Religion, using the earliest rites of passage an African undergoes, taking rituals and taboos as case studies. It is hoped that this book will go a long way in educating Africans and non Africans about African Traditional Religion.
