With the advent of Nanotechnology in the field of Luminescence, the developments of novel materials have taken a pace, which found application in almost every field of Science and Society. Luminescent Properties of bulk Zinc Sulphide has been widely studied by researchers in past because of its novel mechanical, thermal and optical properties, hence its extension in the nanoregime is desirable. Therefore this book therefore provides an insight of the Synthesis, Characterization and Changes in the Luminescent properties of nanocrystalline ZnS capped by various capping molecules in a cost effective and simple wet chemical techniques.
