Confessions
Brother Bob
Confessions by St. Augustine of Hippo, one of the Doctors of the Church, is a classic of Christian literature, written centuries ago. This new translation by Brother Bob presents the words of the great saint in modern 21st century English and gives today's reader the opportunity to easily grasp the concepts. This first part of Confessions is indeed St. Augustine's confession of sin and failing. The entries trace his growth from youth to manhood, Manichean to Christian, priest to bishop, and mortal to saint. Not only is Confessions well-known in the Christian world, but it laid the foundation for modern day journaling.
