Kidnapped Ed Ashurst

A cowboy working on a ranch in the Bootheel area of New Mexico, which is one of America's most remote and dangerous places, steps into a situation that is out of his control. The ordeal he faces in the aftermath of his subsequent encounter with outlaws from a foreign nation traps him and takes him places he doesn't want to go. And then he faces an onslaught of abuse from people he had thought were on his side, and what few answers he ever gets never make up for his unanswered questions.
