After God got shot and left for dead, Marcellus forces Lovelle to go back to Montgomery with him. He knew that she wouldn't willingly go and stay, that's why he uses Peace to encage her. Now that she's forced to be with him, she's focusing on trying to find a way out before it's too late. With Love gone, God just isn't quite himself. His friendship with Spades is tested once he finds out he has been withholding the truth from him. He ends up calling in a few favors and goes on a mission to get his woman back, but things don't turn out exactly as expected. Starfire is still battling demons. With so much on her plate already, more issues come into play and past mistakes surface to the light threatening her relationship with Spades.
