It's been seven years since the end of the world and Cole is living day-to-day out in the wastelands. His entire existence revolves around searching for food and resources, a task which has grown difficult as of late. Marauders and thieves are a constant looming threat, leading Cole to keep one eye open for the dangers that lurk just over the horizon. After a violent run-in with a group of raiders, Cole is taken captive and must strike a deal with their murderous leader, Nathan Wynn. Forced to assimilate or perish, Cole is put to work as the group's resident doctor. His skills and knowledge will be put to the test as he fights to gain allies amidst the bloodthirsty crew, biding his time until he can escape. But with Nathan's men watching his every move, Cole soon realizes that'll be easier said than done.
