Filled with longing and desire, these poems focus on the poet's quest for possession of his paramour Asha. But this mysterious figure can only be shared, for she is not one to belong to any one person. This is a quest, the nature of which is filled with glimpses of joy intermingled with heaps of disappointment. Yet it seems the poet would not have it any differently. The poems themselves are traditional in nature but contain in them a unique perspective on what others have tried to do over the centuries.
