Jeffers and the Raiders get to the plantation and discover the Russians were already at work on gun running. So much so there is a simulated attack on a weapons depot at Entebbe that Jeffers nearly blows out of the water. He was lied to by Trottski, the Russian Major in charge. Jeffers also finds the SLATO port and the SkyTruck that uses it. Then a second arms deal goes bad and Jeffers shows he's more capable at being in charge than the Russian Major which proves to be a blessing in disguise. Addy has uncovered new information about air drops of weapons near the Mozambique border. He is also making contact with other teams he is running out of the Selous Scouts post. There is a meeting between him and Ingham which shows the contradiction of those trying to maintain order and advance their agenda. Mary is now working for Lord Ingham as his press secretary and she's writing stories that cover up indiscretions by those on Ingham's political party. Her cover story is that she writes advertisements for Ingham's farm tractors. But she is quickly becoming indoctrinated by Ingham who rewards her for her efforts by letting her have a house he gives to his favorite people. She meets with Thomas who is anxious to get background information on Ingham so Dubo (legal hack for Mugabe) can bring charges in court against him. This would help get Mugabe elected in the fourth coming race. Sir is still unidentified but he is meeting with many different people. His agenda is unclear and so is his loyalty.
