On his Seventeenth Birthday he enlisted in the United States Army as a Combat Infantryman and the Military Policeman. From 1960 to 1962 he served in the Republic of South Korea. He later served in the U. S. Air Force. Due to family obligations it was necessary to end his military career after six years returning to civilian life he raised a family and became active in community affairs. He served as President of the Local Jaycees Chapter and was named Virginia's Outstanding Young Man by the Virginia Jaycees. For thirty three years he served the United States Postal Service as Local President and later National Officer representing the Tri State Area. It was here that he learned of his love for writing Briefs and representing interests of employees before National Arbitration Panels. He is currently retired and with his wife and care for their three parrots and beloved Bichon, Zip Code.
