There are many roads through healing trauma; none have to be taken alone.

In these tumultuous times, trauma leaves its mark on nearly every person at one point or another. Whether suffering from the inability to connect with others, feeling directionless in your own life, or never feeling truly safe, chances are, you have experienced trauma somewhere along the way. The thought of facing and healing from trauma can seem daunting, with countless options ranging from medications, talk therapy, to even hypnosis. Where is a person to start? The good news is that a simpler and more holistic approach is available.

In a groundbreaking new approach to the treatment of trauma, Trauma vs. Self seeks to heal through the power of narrative. As differing accounts of trauma unfold, varying lessons are weaved throughout, resulting in captivating stories that simultaneously serve to heal. With the additional tools of affirmations, pages devoted to self-reflection, and original poetry, Trauma vs. Self offers an effectual helping hand to trauma victims regardless of recovery stage. As each story builds, so too will the reader's self-empowerment.
