Dreamland

Dreamland - a new hope, tells the story of a seemingly ordinary boy named Shafi, who enters a special part of the Dream realm. It will be unlike anything he's experienced before. His first day in the realm is bumpy, and at times a little awkward, as one may expect in unfamiliar surroundings. Soon he discovers there is a hidden darkness in the realm that he must tread cautiously and survive to dream the next day. The realm is full of dreamers like him, living out their childhood dreams with witty characters, fantastical and sometimes mythical beasts, astonishing places, performing that which is certainly known impossible in the natural realm. The realm is full of fantasy and magic. Dreamers are given the opportunity to master their innate gifts, also known as their Chi. He will learn to harness and develop these powers, perform magical tasks, and embark on a journey to make his mark in the realm. Every dreamer is paired with a beast that is as strange and mysterious as the realm itself. Jaku, a feathered feline beast will help Shafi navigate through the realm, often protecting him from danger and misdirection to those that influence and guard the powers that lie within. Shafi will face the harsh reality of what it means to be the son of Raan. His father was once a powerful dreamer in the realm, who was banished after losing a challenge to Yaksha, a formidable nemesis that bands with the forces of evil to disrupt the balance there in. As Shafi's adventures continue through, he learns that there is more than meets the eye; a greater truth to his father's defeat and banishment from the realm. Thought to be an Aqua Streamer, a dreamer that holds the power to control the forces of water, Shafi will meet the monk that changes his course through the realm. He will face the discouraging baboons, befriend a drunken pirate, change the will of a mud snatcher, discover the hidden world of elves in Egorah, and join forces with the red headed girl that rides the mythical beast.
