The Obedience Of Faith (James-Revelation)

We have so many Christians who have prayed the sinner's prayer, yet are living for this world and the things it offers; they do "not obey the Son." Obedience in the Christian life does more than show we are saved; it is a necessary part of salvation. It is my contention that salvation is a partnership: Jesus saves us and we abide in Him. To abide means to obey. When these two things happen we will enter eternal glory. We can camp out at church, making it to every gathering, but if we walk in sinfulness the wrath of God abides on us.
