JIHAD means to strive. It is not just to wage a holy war!All Abrahamic religions are called to JIHAD. In Islam: The Qur?an said: ?Verily those who have Imman (Faith), who migrate and who strive (exert themselves) in the way of Allah, these have hope of Allah?s mercy. Allag is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Sura 2: 218] In Judaism: The Jihad is to obey Yaweh [God]. The Torah said: ?The Lord your God commands you this day to follow thees decres and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul! [Deuteronomy 26V16] In Christianity The Jihad (the mandate/command) is to: ?Love your enemies [bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you] and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.? [Mathew 5:44] The Big Question If Jihad is to strive or exert oneself in doing good to please God & to obey His Decrees, Laws & Commandments and to Love our enemies, why is Islam, Judaism & Christianity always at war with one another?
