Masters, Mice and Men is a second sharing of True Stories which follow on from the previous book Tibetan Tales and other True Stories. The incidents in this latest offering cover a span of human experience that goes from the sublime to the down-right humorous. They took place between the years of 1985 and 2011, many of them in the foothills and mountains of the Himalayas. Some of these stories point to the manner in which a 'fully realised being' can live in the world and yet remain ever 'beyond' its entrapments, thus providing us with a perfect example of how to move gracefully through life. To some degree, all of these stories share a wonder at the eternal mysteries of life and its deeper underlying meaning. At the end of the day we must all of us know that the 'great leveller' can claim us at any time and that ultimately we need to use this life to find out 'who we are' and 'why we are here.'
