Everything was quiet except for the sound of the car engine and the occasional twittering of the birds. Robert was too deep in his thoughts to notice another more powerful sound than his own car could make, until he looked in his rear view mirror and saw four motor cyclists behind him. He slowed a little and moved over so that they could overtake him and continue on their way, but they remained behind him.
