This book is about a young, orphaned boy, Rob, growing up in the care of his grandparents. The story takes us through Rob's family structure, his dreams and finally his unexpected fame.

"Swash!"Suddenly - after a lapse of roughly twelve minutes, something cut across his path and vanished into the long grass, in the blink of an eye.

Rob did not recognise what it was and could not even figure out what it might have been.

"Whoosh...whoosh...whoosh," it went, and the grass shook heavily in a meandering pattern.
