Four-part miniseries written by David Hare and starring Hugh Laurie as self-made politician and aspiring Prime Minister Peter Laurence in this British political thriller. Having just received a promotion in the Cabinet Laurence has no time to celebrate as he is informed about a secret from his past that may threaten to put an end to his political career.
