Growing up in a black Christian family, Tia Lincoln felt as though religion was being shoved down her throat. Several life experiences changed her belief in God. How could he take her loved ones away, not protect her from those who were supposed to be positive role models in the church, and allow her to suffer so much? Nehemiah Johnson lived a hard life but devoted himself to God when he was able to clean up his act and make his dreams become realities. As a man who can testify the grace of God, he spends his free time trying to restore faith in those who seem weary. One night, God brings the two of them together.
