Apex Predator

A Hand of monster hunters: the deadliest and most precise instrument in the Culling's arsenal of monster-killing tools. Traditionally made up of five hunters, one of each specialization, this team is never assembled except in the most desperate need. A deathly silence has descended on the fishing town of Vielburg. The seasoned hunter Conrad Shast is summoned to join a skilled and diverse Hand and sent to investigate, assess the situation, and deal with it by any means necessary. But more lurks in the shadows of Vielburg than anyone suspected, and the Hand's arrival could end up luring it out into the moonlight again. Meanwhile, Shast fights a new battle within-one of past specters, present demons, and more terrifying and dreadful things to come.
