He Began a Good Work

The idea of accepting Jesus Christ as one's savior is fundamental to Christian life. In fact, one cannot even become a Christian without taking this crucial step. Meanwhile, taking this step can occur at any point in a person's life. Many people accept Christ as young children. I did the same, and this book recounts my life since making that decision many years ago. Autobiographical in nature, this book explains how I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior as a six-year-old and was then buffeted by life circumstances that were beyond my control. For many years after this, I pushed God aside and lived life based only on my own desires. During those years, I became separated from the lifestyles and commitments I made to God as a child. But what I have learned is that God will never forget those who make a commitment to Him, no matter the age, and that includes children. Children, as in my case, may not completely understand the gravity of accepting Jesus and God into their lives, but God will always follow up and honor their decisions, as he did mine. When a person accepts Christ as savior, God begins a "good work" in that person and he will not rest until that work is completed. It took me many years to learn this, but it has been worth it! My book can be useful to any one who seeks the meaning of God in their lives. However, it is specifically written to people like myself who accepted Jesus at a young age, and might find themselves spiritually lost right now. I am here to tell you that there is hope!!!
