Like the albatross, the migratory bird on the title, he crosses the ocean in his search for a new and better destiny. East and West, conicts and passions, suffering and severance, all bump into one another at the crossroads of this roman, based upon a poignant tale that moves us into tears while someti mes leading us to laugh.
