Anna

Orphaned at seventeen, Anna arrives in Dublin to live with her estranged grandparents and alcoholic uncle. She receives a mixed reception and the tension in her new home is unrelenting. Just why does Grandpa despise her so much?
While Anna struggles with finding her way in the big city, uncovering family secrets, and discovering love along the way, she also watches helplessly as her best friend's life spirals out of control with disastrous consequences.
Set in the 1950s, Anna is a coming-of-age tale about a young girl's journey into womanhood as she discovers herself amid the atmospheric streets of Dublin City.
About the Author: Stephen O'Sullivan
Stephen O'Sullivan lives in Dublin City, Ireland. He works as a service technician for an international security company.
He first put pen to paper several years ago when his young daughter asked him to write a story for her. After just a few sentences, he was addicted to writing and hasn't paused since.
Anna is Stephen's second book. His debut novel, Andersons's Gold, was published in 2013 by Whimsical Publications.
As well as writing novels, Stephen has a particular passion for writing short stories. His tales have appeared in many well-known magazines and his work has been featured in the Irish Times Newspaper.
