Down Deep

When a sperm whale strands itself on Brighton beach, marine biologist Roddy Ormond is baffled. Soon whales are impeding shipping, travelling up rivers, and beaching aggressively in huge numbers, and Roddy - appointed co-ordinator of the crisis amidst public hysteria - fears they are trying to warn mankind of impending ecological catastrophe.
