The gossip:


Known as a gossip and for never being able to keep a secret, Morag Douglas was lucky to become an honorary member of the queen's secret group of strong women. But now she needs to change her reputation. Morag plans to do wonderful and important things and make changes in life in secret - like her sister and cousins have done before her. But when she meets up with the mysterious knight, Sir Bedivere and finds herself falling for him, her plans go astray.


The Assassin:

Sir Bedivere Hamilton arrives at Rothbury Castle harboring a dark secret. He is an assassin with one more job to do before his debt will be paid. But when his last mission directly involves the beautiful, talkative Lady Morag, things become more complicated than ever. He's taken an interest in her, but he needs to think with his head and not his heart. After so many years of closing off his heart to do his job, he finds himself in a horrible predicament. If he doesn't finish this last job, someone he loves is going to die. But if he does complete his assignment, he is going to lose the woman who has stolen his heart.
