About 5% of all cases found in the United States are classified as type 1 diabetes. Another 88 million Americans (about 1 out of every 3 people) are facing pre- diabetes.
Jane's son, John; granddaughter, Julia; and sister, Nancy lives with type 1 diabetes and have inspired her to generously give to the cause of diabetes.
