Lee and Mikey have been best friends since birth, virtually inseparable. But on Mikey's 11th birthday, when a texting teen driver struck Mikey as he was crossing the street on his new bike, Lee almost lost his friend. Thankfully, Mikey's physical injuries healed and it appeared as if things would get back to normal. It wasn't to be...at least not yet. After Mikey's second attempt at suicide, his doctor and his mom decided it was time for some drastic action.
