William Baird
"Unexpected Journeys"An ordinary man, much like me or you, travels the road backward in time to trace his family's beginnings. The family story becomes a winding journey that starts in Birmingham, England and ends in the Midwest of America. It is the unexpected excursions that encompass life in the coal mines of Birmingham, travels to America, the Salem witch trials, the Civil War, the Pacific in WW2, and finally terminating in Cleveland, Ohio that urge the reader on to complete the journey with the author. But, are the "Journeys" truly over?A new, fascinating story derived from part history and part tale - From the author of "Dear Rita: One Marine's journey through World War II"
