Abused, Battered, Bruised...but not defeated.

Mary was once a happy, attractive, teenage girl who loved having a good time and who was popular with the boys. Now, ten-years later, she is an abused and battered housewife with three young children and a drunken, whoring husband. Jane is a classy and beautiful high-school teacher - and a high-class call-girl. She enjoys both her careers immensely. That is, until she meets the father of one of her Year Twelve students who beats her savagely, rapes her and leaves her lying in a pool of her own blood. After Jane recovers from her ordeal she does some research to discover that hundreds of thousands of women are physically, sexually and emotionally abused by men. And there is a terrible shortage of reliable services and refuges for battered women. There seems to be no answer to the problem. Except one. Jane decides to become a vigilante. She plans to put to death all the violent men with whom she has had dealings, starting with the man who raped her and left her for dead. She meets up with Mary by accident in a shopping centre and discovers that Mary is an abused housewife. So she offers to murder Mary's husband for her, setting off a chain reaction that leads to more murder, retribution and suffering, yet amidst all this, a ray of hope for the future.
