Telling Stories Out of School augments the memoir of artist, Steve Murillo; for it has fallen to me, I. T. Redfearn, that I should find a way to complete the missing elements that have been told in high esteem from father to son. For he has shared with me many a convoluted saga that did not fit into themes from his earlier book, plus dozens of brief omitted encounters well worth the telling. And keep in mind the title; it is an old saying that my Aunt Evelyn, the artist's mother, would say, accusing us of speaking out when decorum would necessitate that we hold our tongue; but you know, they always made the best of stories.
