Duppy Unda di Bridge and Other Tales

The Duppy Story was a staple of Jamaican life until probably in the late 1960s to early 1970s when television viewing became the preferable pastime to storytelling. This collection of duppy stories and other tales salutes the art of Jamaican storytelling and provides much needed belly laughs and a ton load of memories. These include the humorous chit-chat of Ambrosine Thermutis Smith and Big Bway stories, and introduces Mass Lebert and his Chrismus tale.
