The Lost Degas

Set in the late twentieth century, "The Lost Degas," centers around the beneficiary of a small New Orleans French Quarter estate who is thrust into the lives of a mysterious creole family and the curse which has plagued them for generations. While fighting his own personal demons, he stumbles on clues which allow him to help the hapless family recover a valuable painting and deliver it to its rightful owner. The saga is an historic overview of life, love, failure, and success told through the eyes of a family of creole women and the men they loved. Along the way, the story reveals murder, mystery, and intrigue all enveloped in the history of the city of New Orleans and its diverse cultural mix of people.
