The bilingual text accompanies charming, innocent folk art of angel children outside with birds and animals, playing by the pond or holding hands. Illustrations are by North Carolina folk artist Addie James, the text is composed by her friend, Ruth Pittard, and the Spanish translation is by Dr. Magdalena Maiz-Pena of Davidson College. All three people value cross-cultural communication that emphasizes our loving common bonds and hope that this simple book in two languages will teach our inter-connectedness.
