Society is blind to certain cultures and misconceptions surface in many areas. Fear is the result to the misinformed, but knowledge is power. Our heavenly Father has given us the ability to expand our minds, and reading such material as, "Help! I Live Here, Too!", will open many avenues to understanding the difference in people's lives. I share this life experience and believe it to be a stepping stone to society as a whole. This book was written to eradicate myths about the disabled and bring acknowledgement to society that all people should be treated the same - no matter what their conditions are. Everyone should have equal rights and have a sense of belonging to this world without being falsely labeled, ridiculed, or shunned.
