Slow Ride is an experimental travel novel created through mixing audio transcriptions of a real truck ride with fictional and expository passages. Inspired by Sam Miller's "Delhi: Adventures in a Megacity", it finds the humor in mundane events and offers a window into the Brazilian working class.
