The name Morris Stoloff will instantly strike a chord with aficionados of classic American films made between 1940 and 1960 approximately. During that time, Stoloff oversaw the music production for every major film to bear the Columbia Pictures logo, conducting the scores for everything from 'The Jolson Story' to 'Touch Of Evil' and literally scores of others besides.
